Siga volando
A Swiss Charanga (typical Cuban orchestra including, among others, violins and a flute) is not seen every day. That’s how we talked about Siga Volando in Cuba. Because the music of Siga Volando (continue to fly) flies. It comes from a constant round trip between Switzerland and Cuba. There, it represents the durability of Cuban music around the world. Here it brings the tropical flavor, it smells of good rum and cigar, it makes people dance.
There it was greeted with great respect for its quality, for the care it brings to maintaining Cuban tradition and for the flavor it gives off. Here it seduces by its openness, its original themes, its poetic texts, the virtuosity of its musicians and especially because you can listen to everything at once like a concert, it charms without listening to each other and people can dance with passion.
Switzers
This book reflects what people from all over the world who live in Switzerland have to say about their new home.
Involving an extensive search for all the 193 individuals featured, it took three years and 14 photo shoots to portray and interview one person for every country represented here in Switzerland. In this unique illustrated book, not only will you find very personal photographs of those portrayed but you’ll also be taken on a journey throughout the entire world. Many of the protagonists present their story themselves, and from it emerges a wealth of fascinating and exotic texts.
